GENERAL ROLE
The Store Manager promotes Hermès culture through achieving store excellence, helping their talents flourish, crafting memorable customer experiences, and ensuring seamless floor operations.
Organizational structure: the Store Manager of Padua will report to a Local Area Manager.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Business and Sales Development
* Define the commercial strategy to continuously improve boutique performance and track all KPIs related to the store activity;
* Liaise with the Retail Director to ensure a continuous flow of information with HQ on store and team development;
* Be responsible for buying for the Boutique’s departments and support the team in proposing a buying strategy;
People Management and Development
* Excel as a Role Model of Hermès values and culture for all team members;
* Develop role models within the team, leading by example and sharing feedback;
* Facilitate communication with the team about the maison history, culture, and activities;
* Promote initiatives to make Hermès values and culture come alive in daily store activities;
* Define team management organization and daily routines to ensure consistency;
* Ensure proper coordination between functions and teams;
* Set the recruitment strategy in partnership with HR;
* Observe individual performance and share regular feedback;
* Conduct effective monthly meetings and Annual Performance Evaluations;
* Identify training needs and organize proper training sessions;
* Suggest ideas for morning briefings and team events.
Customer Experience
* Encourage the team to identify commercial opportunities and deliver memorable customer experiences;
* Enable the team to develop action plans to continuously improve customer experience;
* Foster a client culture within the team.
Operations
* Supervise team in stock levels analysis and assist in action plan definitions;
* Be accountable for health & safety compliance;
* Monitor care and maintenance activities of the store;
* Ensure stock accuracy and promote attention to product care;
* Ensure transactions are processed accurately according to Hermès policy.
Compliance
* Ensure company procedures are communicated to the team;
* Facilitate Internal Audit interventions.
PROFILE
* Bachelor’s degree preferably with economic and management focus;
* Fluency in Italian and English; a third language is a plus;
* Strong career in management positions, preferably in luxury goods;
* Proficient with Excel / IT tools;
* Compassionate management aligned with Hermès' values;
* Driving and charismatic presence on the sales floor;
* Analytical skills with a focus on defining strategies;
* Excellent sense of priorities and adaptability;
* Service and hospitality orientation.
